AUSTIN, TEXAS – Today, Texas Association of Business (TAB) President and CEO Glenn Hamer issued the following statement after Chief Executive Magazine named Texas the 'Best State for Business' for a record-breaking 20th year:

“With Texas' continued commitment to low taxes and reasonable regulations, combined with recent investments in workforce and the largest property tax cut in state history, it is no surprise that Chief Executive Magazine has named the Lone Star State the best state for business for a record-breaking 20th straight year. The Texas Association of Business congratulates Governor Abbott on this prestigious and well-deserved award and thanks the Texas Legislature for their work to maintain and strengthen a pro-business climate that is the envy of every other state. TAB looks forward to continuing to work with our state's leaders to keep Texas the globe's premier economic destination.”
