Statement from the Texas Association of Business on Hurricane Harvey Recovery Efforts
“The Texas Association of Business deeply appreciates Governor Greg Abbott, Harris County Judge Ed Emmitt, Mayor Sylvester Turner and all our state leaders who are working tirelessly to save lives throughout the many areas devastated by Hurricane Harvey.
We know there are many tough days still ahead and we offer our thoughts and prayers to all those affected.
For 95 years the Texas Association of Business has led the charge to support business and create jobs. We stand ready to help Texas businesses rebuild in the days and weeks to come.
Texans always unite at times like this. TAB has established a hotline for businesses to connect to the resources they need as the rebuilding begins. The hotline can be reached at 512-637-7714 http://www.txbiz.org/2017/09/05/hurricane-harvey/ is available to all businesses and not just limited to TAB membership.
In the meantime, we encourage those who can to consider donating to Red Cross “Hurricane Harvey Texas Recovery” to assist in the immediate needs of this effort. http://www.redcross.org/donations/ways-to-donate/text-mail-phone#Donate-By-Text “
